Kuro Games hands out Wuthering Waves redemption codes tied to version updates, special livestreams, and anniversary events, and the rewards are worth grabbing: Astrite (the premium pull currency), Shell Credits, Premium Resonance Potions, and Energy/Revival items that keep your exploration runs going without spending real money. Unlike some of its genre peers, Wuthering Waves doesn't run a web-based redemption portal — every code gets entered directly in the client. Here's the exact process.
How to redeem Wuthering Waves codes
Kuro Games has not built a standalone redemption website for Wuthering Waves — as of now, codes can only be redeemed inside the game itself.
- Make sure your character has reached Union Level 2 (earned naturally by opening chests and completing early quests).
- Open the Terminal (the main menu) from the top-left of the screen.
- Go to Settings, then select the Other Settings tab.
- Under the Account section, find Redemption Code and tap Redeem.
- Enter the code exactly as written and confirm.
- Rewards are sent to your in-game mailbox — open it and claim the attachments.
Codes are case-sensitive and single-use per account, so a code that's already been redeemed (or was only ever valid on a different server) will come back as invalid even if it looks correctly typed. Copy-pasting instead of retyping avoids the most common failure.
Active codes
Most Wuthering Waves codes are short-lived, tied to a specific version livestream, and expire within roughly two to three weeks of release — which is why we're not printing specific strings here that could easily be dead on arrival. Historically, Kuro Games has also maintained one longer-running "welcome" style code that stays active for extended periods, but even that has rotated out before, so treat any code as unconfirmed until the in-game redemption screen accepts it.
| Example format | Typical reward |
|---|---|
WUWAXXXXXXXX (illustrative only — not a real code) |
Astrite, Shell Credits, Resonance Potions, Energy/Revival items |
Where to check for the current live codes:
- The official Wuthering Waves X/Twitter and Discord announcements
- Version-update livestreams on YouTube, which typically reveal 2-4 fresh codes on screen
- In-game system announcements and mail
- Kuro Games' official website news section
A note on freshness
Because Wuthering Waves codes expire on a rolling basis and Kuro doesn't run a redemption site you can cross-check against, the in-game "Redeem" button is your ground truth — if it doesn't accept a code, treat it as expired regardless of where you found it. We revisit this page on a regular cadence and update the "last checked" date whenever we re-verify the code situation.
Check back around each new version drop and major livestream — that's consistently when the largest batches of free Astrite show up.
